Description The modules consist of an in-depth examination of the syntax of Spanish, with particular emphasis on certain topics (e.g. subjunctive, passive voice). Familiarity with the written language, and oral performance is consolidated by contact with native speakers.
Learning Outcomes The principal objective of the module is to build on language skills acquired at A-level. By the end of the module the student will have an active appreciation of the syntax of the Spanish language and will be able to apply that appreciation in sustained passages of sophisticated written and oral Spanish.
