LH Dissertation in English Literature 09 27043 40 Full Term

Students without a Creative Practice pathway should choose one Literature Special Subject module from each of blocks A, B, C and D. Students following a Creative Practice pathway should choose one Literature Special Subject module from either block A or B and one Literature Special Subject module from either block C or D in addition to two modules, one per semester, from their chosen pathway. Students may only take a Creative Practice pathway if they have taken that specific pathway at Level I. A list of the pathway modules available will be provided to students during the module allocation process. Creative Practice pathways are available in Creative Writing, Drama, Film and Language. An indicative list of Literature Special Subjects is provided below:

Students who are not following a Creative Practice Pathway may apply to undertake a placement module in their final year. If successful, they will take this module in place of one of their semester 1 options. The placement can be taken either during the summer vacation (part-time or full-time) or during semester 1 (part-time only). The placement must be completed prior to the Christmas vacation.
