M.Eng. Electrical and Railway Engineering with Industrial Year Full-time

Year: 2
2021/22 Session

Programme specific regulation: Due to the requirements of IET accreditation for MEng programmes, students who fail more than any “core” modules at stage 2 but fail less than 20 credits of core modules in years 1 and 2 combined, and still qualify for an undergraduate masters will normally be transferred to an unaccredited MSci Electrical and Railway Engineering with an Industrial Year. In this instance “core modules” refers to modules whose learning outcomes are included in UK SPEC. Students who fail any core modules in year 2 and do not qualify for an undergraduate masters will normally be transferred to BSc.

Decisions as to whether a student has met the requirements of the IET accredited programme will be made on a case by case basis.
