English Literature Pathway
Students taking 40 credits in English Literature must choose EITHER one module from Histories of Literature A and D OR one module from Histories of Literature B and C. Students taking 60 credits in English Literature must choose EITHER one module from Histories of Literature A and D OR one module from Histories of Literature B and C plus EITHER one module from the Themes in Literature list (parts A & B must both be taken) OR 33587 and 33588
Students taking 80 credits in English Literature must choose EITHER one module from Histories of Literature A and D OR one module from Histories of Literature B and C, plus one module from the Themes in Literature list (parts A & B must both be taken) AND modules 33587 and 33588.

For students taking 40 credits in English Language, choose two optional modules.
All students should choose two English Language modules (40 credits) from the list of options available irrespective of whether they are studying 40, 60 or 80 credits in English Language.
