B.A. Ancient History and Archaeology and History Full-time

Students must choose one of the following:

Students may also choose an appropriate 20 or 40 credit dissertation with a partner department as an alternative to the above dissertation modules.

Students take 40-80 credits from all CAHA modules including the Special Subject (20+20). Students must take at least one dissertation or extended essay across their two subjects. They may take no more than one CAHA extended essay. Students may choose any combination of Modules in CAHA Subjects as long as they do at least 50 and no more than 70 credits in each semester. The list of optional modules will be provided by the Department and differs year by year.

Subject to the approval of the programme lead students may also include in their history total up to 40 credits of optional modules offered by departments other than history. Students may only take one dissertation module and their credit total must include at least one non-dissertation module.
