This module presents a fusion of linguistic and analytical competencies to allow students to build on the subject expertise acquired in previous Language for Commerce modules and explain the significance and relevance of that knowledge. Through the interrelation of comprehension, speaking, listening and writing, students on the module will develop their understanding and expertise in the Spanish language, with specific reference to key debates in the Spanish-speaking world and more specifically to the politics, society(ies) and economy in the Spanish speaking world. Speaking will not be directly assessed in semester 2 through the means of an oral presentation on a topic previously negotiated with the lecturer.
