B.A. History of Art with English Literature with Year in Computer Science Full-time

2025/26 Session

The University Regulations permit students registered to Joint degrees to vary their credit weighting in their second and final year. A minimum of 40 credits and a maximum of 80 credits must be taken in each discipline in both years (subject to a total number of 120 credits in each year). Students who undertake less than 160 credits in one of their disciplines will graduate with a major/minor degree. Core modules: For students taking 40 credits worth of Art History modules there are no compulsory modules from Art History. Core modules: Students taking 60 or 80 credits in Art History must take the following modules:

Students taking 40 credits of Art History and 80 credits in English Literature Optional modules: Art History: Students choose ONE 20-credit option in Semester 1 and ONE 20-credit option in Semester 2 English Literature: Students choose TWO 20-credit options in Semester 1 and TWO 20-credit options in Semester 2 Optional modules: Students taking 60 credits of Art History and 60 credits in English Literature Optional modules: Art History: Students choose ONE 20-credit option in Semester 1 and ONE 20-credit option in Semester 2. You will also take the two 10 credit compulsory modules in Semester 2: Research Techniques and Art History in the Field. English Literature: Students choose TWO 20-credit options in Semester 1 and ONE 20-credit options in Semester 2 Optional modules: OR Optional modules: Art History: Students choose TWO 20-credit options in Semester 1. In semester 2, you will just take the two 10 credit compulsory modules: Research Techniques and Art History in the Field. English Literature: Students choose ONE 20-credit option in Semester 1 and TWO 20-credit options in Semester 2 Optional modules: Students taking 80 credits of Art History and 40 credits in English Literature Optional modules: Art History: Students choose TWO 20-credit options in semester 1 and ONE 20-credit option in semester 2. You will also take the two 10 credit compulsory modules in Semester 2: Research Techniques and Art History in the Field.
