Aims of the Programme This programme outlines an additional qualification within the portfolio of the Intercalated BMedSc which is available to medical and dental undergraduates. Intercalated degree programmes have a recognised role in providing eligible students from this and other institutions with the opportunity to undertake focussed, in-depth study in a particular topic area of continuing relevance to their professional studies and to develop their understanding and application of research methodologies. This submission provides a series of modules focusing in international health which, in conjunction with existing BMedSc modules, will provide students with a thorough grounding in this area.
