Exclusions
Description	The aim of this module is to provide the opportunity to conduct a research project under the supervision of a member of staff. The module comprises a review of the existing literature, data collection in a laboratory or field setting, a written report, and a poster presentation.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module you will be able to: Demonstrate an understanding of the background to the project, the hypotheses to be tested, the methodology used, and the ethical issues involved. Demonstrate ttechnical proficiency in acquiring data, which may include recruiting subjects, using apparatus, administering questionnaires, analysing data and presenting results in the best format. Demonstrate a degree of originality and critical judgement in balancing concern for the detail of the project with an understanding how it fits with the current scientific literature. Present empirical findings and ideas in writing and orally.
