Description	This project allows students to study in more depth topic from the MBChB curriculum, which they have not had time during the regular academic year to pursue. Students will forms small groups within their M group, research a topic, and then create, and present a poster on the topic to academics from the College. Therefore, as well as allowing students to opportunity to work on a topic of interest, it also allows students to think about how to design a poster, and to have the experience of presenting this is a conference-like atmosphere. Also important in this project is the requirement for the students to work together on this project, thus fostering team work skills that will be vital later.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the component students should be able to: Search the literature on a topic of interest Appraise and select the important facets of the literature to present on a poster Design a poster that is both attractive and informative Present a poster to academics and peers Answer questions on the content of the poster, and show the ability to go beyond only the information represented on the poster Reference academic sources properly Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team to complete a project
