Exclusions
Description	Practice educators who have successfully passed this module will have sufficient experience and have demonstrated competence to supervise, teach and assess social work students up to and including the final placement. They will have demonstrated and provided evidence of how they met the stage 2 Practice Educator Professional Standards (PEPS) and shown a sound value base as a practice educator.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module students should be able to: Demonstrate an ability to work with others to organise an effective learning environment at Stage 2 of the Practice Educator Professional Standards (Domain A). Teach, facilitate and support learning and professional development in practice at Stage 2 of the Practice Educator Professional Standards (Domain B). Manage the fair and transparent assessment of learners in practice at Stage 2 of the Practice Educators Professional Standards (Domain C). Develop knowledge and continuing performance as a practice educator (Domain D).
Assessment	27315-01 : Portfolio : Coursework (100%)
Assessment Methods & Exceptions	Assessments: One 4000 word assignment (100% of numeric mark) plus an associated portfolio of evidence and associated commentary to include an observation of the candidate’s practice (pass / fail). Reassessment: Resubmission of failed component.
