The module will provide students with an introduction to university-level research methods. Weeks 1-5 will involve a series of lectures outlining the theory and practice of key methods within both Physical and Human Geography.
The fieldcourse (Week 6) will expose students to the application of methods in the field. Weeks 7-11 will develop a critical understanding of research practice through small group work.
