Description
The Innovation in Professional Development Module allows participants to evaluate current personal and professional development, progress and enhance critically reflective skills, through linking theory with practice to develop informed strategies to support own and others’ professional development and learning within the workplace.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module, students should be able
Explore assumptions concerning their own learning and investigate strategies to manage self-learning effectively within the context of their professional practice
Use strategies to facilitate their personal and professional development through critical enquiry and complex problem-solving
Demonstrate critical evaluation of professional development through presentation of documentary evidence based on an understanding professional / practice expertise and lifelong learning
Evaluate own developmental needs through critical reflection of their professional / practice knowledge
Plan future development needs through the understanding of skill acquisition and expertise
