Description
This module covers conceptual and historical issues in cognitive psychology, and explores the relationship between cognitive psychology and the field of education including its relevance to educational research. Key paradigms in cognitive psychology will be discussed. Cognitive psychology research models and their underlying assumptions will be studied in reference to key areas of cognition. Ethical principles and research limitations will also be considered.
