The module allows the students to understand various approaches to strategic management in the complex internal and external environment, both national and international, In the delivery of the module students study analyse and evaluate corporate strategies in complex cases; Students review strategy implementation at the corporate and intercompany levels. Students work in groups on one case study and give advice to enable the company board implement a successful strategy
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module students should be able to:
Undertake a full and critical strategic audit of an organisation and its competitive environment
Produce coherent and consistent reports, detailing a firms strategic priorities and options
Map the organisational implications of the above for the firm, and integrate results
Understand and critically appraise stages in strategic analysis.
