In Dance 3B students choose two core dance disciplines as their specialism, alongside lessons in Commercial for Audition. The selection of two areas of focus encourages increasing versatility in Track B dance students, whilst also allowing them to develop their individual strengths in particular genres. Commercial for Audition allows students to gain experience in a professional audition environment, whilst learning choreographic content to deliver as a solo at an industry standard. Work in these dance classes encourages students to hone the necessary dance skills required for professional level practice. Technical proficiency, stylistic understanding and performance skills are examined in the tutor-led classes and in the delivery of a solo from the repertoire in each discipline. Commercial for Audition is delivered via an assessed solo audition
