In Dance 3C students choose one core dance discipline to focus on, offering students the opportunity to develop a greater understanding of the dance skills required as a singer or actor in Musical Theatre. For the actor or singer, dance skills are essential to maintain strength and core stability, whilst also being a key component of the genre. Tutor-led classes ensure the development of secure technical skills in the dance discipline, flexibility, strength and detailed understanding of the style. Students are assessed on their overall performance in one class and one solo in the selected discipline.
