Musical Theatre 2A aims to further develop and explore the technical requirements of new modes, genres and techniques of musical theatre performance. Singing and voice classes focus on the refinement of the actor’s vocal and physical instrument, developing dexterity and modulation of style and technique.
Technical singing classes continue to strengthen and secure the student’s instrument in preparation for solo and ensemble performance. In Acting, the work evolves to explore non-naturalistic acting in order to develop and refine the skill set required as a professional actor. Voice and Dialect classes will provide students with the necessary skills to deliver spoken text work in a stable and secure manner.
