This optional first year module provides students with an opportunity to study, distinguish, and interpret different teachings in Christian theology. The module offers an initial option for students to discover primary and secondary sources in Christian theology about a variety of themes. Students will gain an understanding of the various ways that texts, events, and communities have argued for specific ideas. Core issues to be explored are the understanding of primary sources and rival interpretations as well as ways to relate different views in the history of Christian ideas.
