This module will introduce students to what a literature review is and its role within a research project and/or professional practice. It will guide and support students through the process of developing a literature research question; devising a comprehensive and systematic search strategy; using information databases to access literature; reading and critically analysing the literature; and writing an effective literature review on a specific topic. Students will be taught in small-group seminars as well as receiving topic-specific support from an academic supervisor.
