Exclusions
Description	This module is part of a suite of modules that allows students to put into practice their theoretical knowledge and skills developed during their academic studies, and to critically reflect on this activity.Students devise a civic engagement project in collaboration with local community actors. In this module, students acquire the individual skills needed to implement their project.This suite of modules will deepen students’ appreciation of civic engagement, encouraging them to think about how they can make change and enrich the communities in which they live. Students will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge and skills to an authentic policy challenge in collaboration with a local community actor. Students will be introduced to the principles of civic engagement & leadership, becoming active citizens as they design a collaborative project to explore different policy contexts of a specific social issue.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module students should be able to: Advance and implement a collaborative civic engagement project during a placement with a community actor, aligned with the objectives of that organisation. Produce an appropriate evidence based progress report acknowledging relevant policy contexts and suggesting authentic policy solutions. Reflect upon their own personal development across the whole module.
