Exclusions
Description	This module takes an innovative approach to participant-led learning to develop students’ clinical reasoning and graduate attributes ready for clinical practice. Students work together to prioritise topics, identified from reflections on previous clinical experience, that they would like to develop their knowledge and skills in further. They then collaborate in groups and with the wider community of practice including academics in SPortExR and external clinicians and researchers to plan and develop bespoke module content that meets their identified learning needs. The planning and development of the learning activities is facilitated through regular student-led seminars and supervision sessions and forms part of the module assessment. Students also take part in workshops that develop different perspectives in clinical reasoning and their wider graduate attributes, including on-call physiotherapy simulations and global health focused learning activities exploring social determinants of health. Through the module assessment, students reflect on how learning experiences on the module will inform their future clinical reasoning and approach to lifelong learning.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module students should be able to: Develop creative solutions to meet identified learning needs arising from complex challenges in clinical practice Participate in a community of practice to collaboratively produce learning resources that develop advanced clinical reasoning Critically reflect on their learning and analyse the impact on future practice Evaluate how the organisation and delivery of healthcare services impacts on health outcomes
Assessment
Assessment Methods & Exceptions	Assessment: 100% Coursework Presentation, 15 mins (50%) Portfolio, 2000 words (50%) Reassessment: Students must resit any assessment components that were not passed at the first attempt. For the summative assessments, this will be through resubmission of the assignment. Where students do not pass the internal hurdle of peer and tutor assessment of their engagement with the group work, they will be required to demonstrate collaboration in the development of a learning activity or resource in order to meet learning outcome 20. 2. This could involve a different community of practice, agreed in discussion with the module lead.
