Exclusions
Description This module assumes knowledge of the basic principles of Greek grammar and the more common inflectional forms, along with a good grasp of basic vocabulary. Students will build on this foundation to gain a knowledge of all common noun and verb forms, along with a wider range of grammatical constructions and a wider vocabulary.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the module students should be able to:
  • Deploy knowledge of all the common forms of classical Greek verbs and nouns;
  • Recognize most common grammatical constructions of Greek
  • Recall and deploy a reasonably extensive vocabulary.
  • Translate short passages of un-adapted Greek into English independently

38797-03 : 1.5 Hour Examination : Exam (Centrally Timetabled) - Written Unseen (50%)
