In this module students consolidate linguistic skills gained in Greek 1 and 2, or at A-level or equivalent. Students work through selected aspects of advanced Greek grammar, continue to add to the range of their Greek vocabulary, and practise unseen translation. They work on selected literary texts in prose and/or verse, using scholarly commentaries and developing their dictionary skills as well as their commentary skills. Students learn to comment and reflect on their own and others' translations.

Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of Greek grammatical structures;
Translate with fluency and comment critically on Greek texts from a seen selection;
