Description
Students will work in a professional environment relevant to their undergraduate studies for a minimum period of 30 weeks. Because of the diverse nature of the work placements, the work undertaken will vary but it will be the responsibility of the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences to ensure that it is appropriate. Students will perform work and be provided with support and training by the University and placement organisation. The specific skills will vary with placement but students will be provided with opportunities to develop technical and transferrable skills and will create a reflective professional portfolio.
