Students on this module will develop the skills needed to produce a systematised literature review, relevant to nursing practice. Students will learn through lectures and with the support and guidance of a research supervisor who will support the students in writing their literature review. Students will then conduct a review from an evidence-based practice perspective, devise and implement a systematic search strategy and undertake a critical review of the body of research. They are expected to demonstrate an understanding of the research process, and the ability to consider the impact of quality on health and social care research.
