Description This module continues to builds upon the fundamental principles introduced in Year 1 and LI Physical Chemistry IIa to develop a deeper understanding of thermodynamics, intermolecular interactions and equilibrium electrochemistry.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the module students should be able to:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the principles and concepts associated with the material delivered in each area;
  • Apply their acquired knowledge and understanding to the solution of relevant problems, including numerical problems;
  • Apply their knowledge and understanding to rationalise observations and trends, including previously unseen data and including results of numerical problem-solving.
