Description This module develops a basic understanding of the principles of mechanics. Statics, kinematics and dynamics will be covered.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the module students should be able to:
  • Understand and apply the basic laws of statics, kinematics and dynamics in simple linear and rotating systems.
  • Show a basic understanding of Simple Harmonic Motion
