Description This is a totally laboratory-based module, covering aspects of advanced synthetic and analytical chemistry. The module additionally develops skills in the interpretation of complex data and project skills.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the module students should be able to:
  • • Demonstrate advanced synthetic and manipulative skills in the laboratory
  • • Collect, analyse and interpret complex data
  • • Present scientific observations in a sound and coherent manner and to maintain a laboratory notebook.
  • • To perform risk-assessments and to complete COSHH paperwork.
