Exclusions
Description This module builds upon the physical chemistry principles and concepts related to properties of matter introduced in Year 2, exploring a range of advanced topics. Students select from a range of courses reflecting modern, topical material aligned to the current research interests of the School including sustainable, computational and medicinal chemistries. The breadth of courses offered allows students to specialise in those aspects of the discipline of particular interest to them.

Learning Outcomes By the end of the module students should be able to:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the advanced principles and concepts associated with the material delivered in each area;
  • Integrate and apply acquired knowledge to rationalise observations and solve relevant unseen problems within contemporary chemistry topics
