Description The dissertation is carried out on a full time basis and aims to provide the candidate with first hand exposure to a real industrial or commercial study; it might involve a literature survey, feasibility study or market research, data collection, analysis, costing and recommending solutions to a particular problem, or perhaps some novel research.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the module the student should be able to:
  • Understand the application (to a specific problem) of some of the skills and analysis techniques that have been acquired during the taught part of their programme.
