Description Organisational Behaviour and Motivation. Organisational Dynamics and Control. Forecasting: Pre-planning, demand, short-term forecasting (moving averages, exponential smoothing, etc.) Holt Winter forecasting. Production Planning: stock control, cost factors, basic replenishment policies and properties. M.P.S. and M.R.P. systems. Supply chain management and logistics.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the course the students should be able to:
  • Appreciate the nature and fundamental problems of operations management;
  • Solve basic problems in the fields of organisational control, forecasting, stock control, production planning, supply chain management and logistics.
