Exclusions
Description	This is an individual research oriented project in which the student will investigate a practical problem that may arise directly as a result of the student’s previous experience or specific area of interest. Projects will require students to undertake a critical literature review and from this prepare a clear problem definition and research methodology. Research findings will be presented in report form, orally and defended in a viva.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module students should be able to: Obtain and evaluate information from a wide range of sources. Plan and execute a programme of work. Provide critical and reflective assessment of research findings. Sort and manipulate data in a manner that facilitates interpretation and analysis. Provide clear and relevant conclusions. Work independently, managing personal work programme to meet project milestones. Use appropriate visual written and verbal techniques to communicate ideas.
