Description	The module links directly with engineering and business strategy development, demonstrating how programmes and projects are derived from a business intent. Describes the ontology and structure of projects and develops the role of a project manager in planning and delivering the required benefits for the enterprise.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module students should be able to: Analyze the link between strategy and projects and be able to describe the challenges enterprises face in delivery. Develop the attributes of a project and contrast with that of ongoing operations and the need for different approaches in management. Critically compare different types of project and analyse how the approaches are appropriate for their intent. Apply the key concepts in producing and outline plan for a project / programme in delivering a business outcome.
