Students learn about the design of Immersive Virtual, Augmented and Mixed reality systems and their underlying emerging technologies. They acquire a working knowledge in the design of such systems, human-in-the-loop considerations, input interfaces and their processing characteristics, output interfaces and their rendering characeteristics, the use of artificial intellegence in animation and interaction, and the use of industry-standard tools to demonstrate application development.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module students should be able to:
ꮧExplain and Demonstrate knowledge of Virtual and Mixed Reality Engineering
Identify, Design and Evaluate Mixed Reality Applications .
Assessment
