Restrictions Safeguarding is led by the BIA for under 18s, academics teaching this module would not have 1-1 meetings with students in private offices with U18. Academics having 1-1 tutorials will be DBS checked and aware of relevant safeguarding procedures

Exclusions
Description This module builds on the knowledge and skills developed in the Mathematics I module. Topics covered include differentiation, integration, and differential equations.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the module students should be able to:
  • Calculate derivatives using explicit, implicit, parametric and logarithmic differentiation
  • Calculate integrals using substitutions, by parts, using partial fractions and using trigonometric identities
  • Solve simple differential equations with boundary conditions

34677-05 : class test 1 : Class Test (25%)

Assessment Methods & Exceptions Assessment:

50% from 2 written class tests
50% written unseen examination (90 minutes)

Reassessment:

100% exam in the supplementary period
