Restrictions Safeguarding is led by the BIA for under 18s, academics teaching this module would not have 1-1 meetings with students in private offices with U18. Academics having 1-1 tutorials will be DBS checked and aware of relevant safeguarding

Exclusions
Description This module builds on the knowledge and skills developed in the Mathematics I module. Topics covered include proof, functions, transformations, solving equations using trigonometry, partial fractions and advanced curve sketching.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the module students should be able to:
  • Use mathematical proof
  • Understand functions, transformations and sketching
  • Use trigonometric identities and solve trigonometric equations
  • Sketch polynomial, trigonometric and rational functions
Assessment 34678-01 : exam : Exam (Centrally Timetabled) - Written Unseen (50%)
34678-02 : continuous assignments : Class Test (50%)
