In this module, mathematical foundations required for year 2 and above modules of the programme will be introduced. It will introduce differential equations, probability and fourier series and integral transforms.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module students should be able to:
To demonstrate the use of differential equations to solve engineering problems.
To apply concepts of probability to solve engineering problems.
To apply fourier series and integral transforms to solve the engineering problems.
