This module will engage students' interdisciplinary knowledge by exploring key scientific developments in engineering and physical sciences across a wide range of STEM subject areas. You will explore the evidential nature of science and how perspectives have shifted over time. You will learn how to use information from multiple sources to provide evidence in support of claims and as backing for warrants within scientific arguments. You will learn how to present ideas and arguments clearly and concisely in-line with academic and industry standards in engineering and physical sciences disciplines.

Weekly summative problems (50%) Take home research task – create and submit a poster for assessment. (30% - Size A2 – 1000 word limit) Poster Presentation (20% - 10 minutes)
