Description	This module will introduce the concept of user-centred software design, integrating concepts from software engineering such as the software life cycle and modern methodologies for software development with the main principles of human-computer interaction (HCI).
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module students should be able to: Explain and apply appropriate techniques for determining user requirements Design and evaluate a computer-based system which meets such user requirements Explain and apply modern methodologies for software design and development Explain and interpret the software lifecycle
