By the end of the module students should be able to:
- Demonstrate a systematic understanding of the key challenges facing MNCs with regard to HRM policies and strategies and the ways these challenges can be addressed in different socio-economic contexts;
- Critically engage with different IHRM strategies and evaluate their contribution to organizational performance;
- Analyse organizational needs for employee resourcing, training & development, performance appraisal and reward policies in multinational companies;
- Critically evaluate the roles of national institutions and cultures in shaping HR practices in MNCs.
