This module is intended to provide students with a critical awareness of both quantitative and qualitative research methods and how they are applied to the field of management.
Topics that may be covered in this module may include:
Secondary data sources and literature reviews
Quantitative methods such as surveys and statistical methods of data analysis
Ethical considerations in conducting research
Issues around research method validity and limitations
By the end of the module students should have developed the knowledge and understanding to effectively design and write up a research project.

Demonstrate a critical understanding of different methodologies within International Business research
Demonstrate a critical understanding of the importance of evidence based research
Carry out systematic quantitative and qualitative data analysis
Make an informed choice of data collection methods for a given research area or research question in International Business
Demonstrate research skills on data collection methods including designing a survey questionnaire and an interview guide
