Description
This module comprises of the two placements for the BSc Business Management – Year in Industry. Students take two separate placements and will be assessed at the end of each placement. This module allows students to put into practice their theoretical knowledge gained during their academic study.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module students should be able to:
Apply knowledge and skills of business management to problem solve, communicate and think critically within a work environment.
Understand and analyse organisational goals and pro-actively contribute to those specific goals as an individual and as part of a team during an industrial placement.
Apply analytical skills relating to the contribution of the organisation, its practices and processes, to society.
Critically reflect on the application of theoretical knowledge and skills of business management to a work environment.

33061-01 : Assessment: Placement 1 assignment of 2000 words (30%) : Coursework (30%)
33061-02 : Placement 2 assignment of 4,000 words (70%) : Coursework (70%)
