The individual project work is a two-stage process. First, students will attend a lecture on introduction to project work and report writing and then a number of workshops, held during the second semester. The lecture will focus on project design and requirements. The workshops will familiarise students with the available data sources and data analytics. At the end of second semester, students will submit and present a project proposal that will be evaluated by project supervisors as ‘pass’ or ‘fail and resubmit’. In the second stage over the summer term, students will work with their supervisors to for the completion of their full project with oral demonstration for further assessment. There will be a series of scheduled project supervision meetings with the students.
