The module aims to develop students' abilities to understand the practice of international business cooperation through a blend of systematic analysis, discussion of case studies and a practical research project which integrates the lecture session materials and learning exercises, with a real-world experience of the processes by which firms form an international partnership, alliance, or joint venture. Implementing cooperative strategy in the real world involves the ability to form and work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. The module therefore, in addition to subject knowledge, research and analytical skills, aims to enable you to benefit from peer-to-peer learning, and reflective engagement with your own learning journey.
