Exclusions
Description	In this module, students will study strategies for growing sustainable businesses. Government policies relating to support to grow entrepreneurial business, potential for funding from private and government sources, and consideration of internationalisation as a potential growth strategy will be explored. Examples from both international and the UK context will be discussed in order to analyse the practices of fast-growing business and explore various measures of success. To support the practical application of the knowledge gained in this module, students will engage in a business simulation, working in groups to make, implement and analyse the results of strategic growth decisions.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module students should be able to: Research and select source(s) of growth support for a range of business contexts. Critically discuss different theoretical approaches and models that underpin entrepreneurial business growth and be able to critically evaluate such theories. Develop, apply, and critically analyse strategic plans for sustainable entrepreneurial growth in an international context. Critically analyse the practices of a range of growing entrepreneurial organisations, identifying both successful approaches and barriers to internationalisation and sustainable entrepreneurial growth Analyse the impact of risk and uncertainty on strategic growth decisions for sustainability. Manage projects and activities by applying knowledge, skills, and tools. Demonstrate effective interpersonal and multi-cultural team working skills (teamwork and interpersonal skills)
