In this module, students will study strategies for growing sustainable businesses. Government policies relating to support to grow entrepreneurial business, potential for funding from private and government sources, and consideration of internationalisation as a potential growth strategy will be explored.
Examples from both international and the UK context will be discussed in order to analyse the practices of fast-growing business and explore various measures of success.
To support the practical application of the knowledge gained in this module, students will engage in a business simulation, working in groups to make, implement and analyse the results of strategic growth decisions.
