Description This advanced module is designed to enhance students' abilities in data visualization and extracting consumer insights. Through the use of relevant software packages students will learn to create impactful visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data. The module covers various techniques for analysing consumer behaviour, sentiment, and geospatial data. Focused on practical application, this module allows students to transform theoretical knowledge into compelling visual narratives, preparing them for real-world marketing challenges. The course is structured to ensure students can adapt their skills to evolving industry standards and tools, making them versatile professionals.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the module students should be able to:
  • Apply theoretical knowledge and create effective data visualizations using relevant software.
  • Critically analyse and visualize consumer behaviour data to extract insights.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and advanced visualizations, conduct sentiment analysis, and apply geospatial data visualization techniques to inform marketing strategies.
  • Create compelling data stories to communicate marketing insights effectively.
