The module will use psychological case-studies, scenarios and problem-based learning to encourage engagement with study skills in a manner tailored to Psychology and Neuroscience students’ needs. The use of case studies and scenarios is intended to demonstrate the professional relevance of the skills addressed. The module learning outcomes align directly with the QAA’s generic skills for Psychology students.

3 tutorial sessions to encompass a draft, peer-feedback, redraft and submit cycle for an essay. (plus 1 reading week)
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module students should be able to:
Communicate ideas and research findings by written, oral and visual means;

Assessment Methods & Exceptions
This modules will not be taken alone but as a 10+10 module only (alongside a new module being introduced in 2023-24: LC Ideas, Concepts and Ethics in Psychology and Neuroscience (Dubai), Semester 2; 39927). These modules will be assessed synoptically according to the following methods:
Assessment 1. MCQ exam, 1h (50% of 20 credits) 2. Essay, 1000 words (50% of 20 credits)
Reassessment: 1.MCQ and SAQ exam, 1h (100% of 20 credits)
