Exclusions
Description	The module aims to foster written and oral skills in the language, building on the linguistic skills acquired in year 1. An additional feature of the module will be more effective use of software presentation programmes. Students will also select a discipline – a specific topic – that they will prepare independently for oral presentation in the target language.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module the student should be able to demonstrate a good awareness of the sounds and patterns of spoken French. research a topic relating to contemporary French society and demonstrate vocabulary awareness linked to that topic. choose and carry out an audiovisual presentation in French and answer questions on it, demonstrating intellectual and presentation skills.
Assessment	15641-05 : Video project : Practical (100%)
Assessment Methods & Exceptions	Assessment: 8-10 minute video project in French followed by 5 minutes of questions (100%) Reassessment: Redo summative assessment in August supplementary period.
